Solvang Alisal Vacation Cottages

Had a wonderful stay at Solvang Alisal Cottages! Centrally located & walking distance to all shops and restaurants, cottage was clean and comfortable, hosts were accommodating - even shared a sweet treat from a local bakery. I’d highly recommend this for anyone looking for a rental during their next Solvang vacation

A delightful place to stay in Solvang! The cottages were newly built or remodeled, but had a cottage feel with large front porches. Everything was top of the line—the linens, the fixtures and finishes, the amenities. The owners thought of everything— a huge Danish Kringle from a local bakery, paper products, coffee. And the cottage was immaculate, which is appreciated during these covid times. It was the perfect, quiet spot to slow down, sip coffee on the porch, and enjoy the moment.

No idea how hotels / google decide their star ratings because this is listed as a 2-star hotel but is way better than any 5-star hotel we could have stayed at. It is right off the main street of Solvang making everything you want to do walkable. Private off street parking in the back alley is safe and well lit. The site itself is very quiet and cozy. While hanging out on the porch we saw almost every passer-by do a double take to admire how nice the property is and they took a pamphlet from the front gate. Your room consists of a bedroom, living room, bathroom, and front porch. Everything you need is already in the house: Plates, extra pillows and blankets, toiletries, kitchen utensils, microwave, toaster, T.V., stove, sink, etc. Everything was VERY clean and well maintained. Beautiful cottage within walking distance to downtown Solvang, CA. The furnishings were beautiful and the management provided a Danish pastry as a treat! So nice! The cottage was clean, cozy and lovely. Highly recommended!

We booked this cottage for our first trip to Solvang for the Danish Days Festival. The festival was canceled due to Covid, but we decided to visit "Little Denmark" anyway. We stayed in the Daisy 2 cottage and it was the best part of the visit! So many good things: very clean, great location, easy parking, comfortable bed, all the amenities of home and a wonderful porch with rose garden to relax and enjoy. People walk by with their coffee and pastries and often stop to look at the cottages and take a brochure. We walked everywhere as we are so close to the bakeries, restaurants and shops. The manager David is awesome and will answer all your questions. Super highly recommend the Solvang Alisal Cottages. You will not be disappointed, I promise!!!!!
