Customer Reviews
Excellent experience, great customer service, good local recommendations. It's in the corner of Chinatown so there is a lot of good food. On Valentine's Day staff left a rose on me door, very sweet. The building is old and in the middle of the city, so there is noise from the traffic, sometimes people yelling on the street at night. They provide ear plugs in the room. The floor in my room was really squeaky but they can't really do anything about it. One thing, I wish the room had an electric water kettle. They provide tea but there is only the coffee maker, so if you use it to heat water the tea tastes like coffee.
The experience was above my expectations! The staff were extremely kind and always ready to help. Even the housekeepers were lovely. The room was spotless and came with all the amenities I needed. Highly recommend this place, especially for solo travelers.
As a timeshare, it doesn't offer much. Everything is self-serve. The concierge are not cordial. Not a hello or any greeting. They're busy on their cell phones. There's no info and when I asked, offered nothing when I asked what local events you recommend. Front desk are friendly, especially the weekend staff. However, we enjoyed our trip. It's right next to Chinatown and Union Square. It's close to the bus station and train. Don't expect much from the resort, but just to rest and sleep as there's not much it offers. It's more of a hotel.
I love the WorldMark. It feels safe, with 24 hour security guard standing my the door. In addition, the whole building is very clean. It is right near Chinatown, so take advantage of the delicious Chinese food in the area. A great option if you need a nice place to stay in the City.
Unpleasant Encounter During My Stay||||I recently stayed at WorldMark San Francisco and overall found the property comfortable but not fancy at all, but I wanted to mention an unpleasant experience I had. While taking the elevator to my floor, another guest entered. As I exited, I politely said, “Have a good night,” and he unexpectedly replied, “Have a good night, bitch.”||||I was quite shocked by the comment, especially since I had not spoken to him before that moment. The individual appeared to be an older man, and I chose not to respond and went directly to my room. While I understand the hotel cannot control every guest’s behavior, I hope management continues to monitor guest safety and ensure a respectful environment for everyone.
