Star Motel

This place was great. We found it online and took a chance and we were very happy. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, location was great. Someone put some effort into giving the place a facelift. Sam at the front desk was excellent. Wonderful service and very accommodating. Would certainly not hesitate to stay here again.

My family was mad at me for booking a motel but they and I, were pleasantly surprised. The location is amazing. Everything is walkable, although the hills can be rough if you’re not fit. The room was clean and housekeeping came every day. My only complaint is that there wasn’t much room to put anything or hang anything so you truly have to live out of your bags. Not a huge deal but we were there for 5 days so it was kind of a hassle having to dig for everything we needed. The room had a microwave, fridge, coffee, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Rooms were quiet, never heard our neighbors. Parking was a huge plus.

Great little motel. My son and I were only.in San Francisco for the day and needed something clean and affordable for the night. This place was both. Freshly remodeled, friendly front desk. Beds were super comfy and clean. The shower was hot, and best of all your room comes with parking! I would 100% stay here again!

This hotel is a great find in a great location. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. It’s a very basic set up but it provides all you need for a stay in San Francisco in a safe location. Parking is included and you are walking distance from a lot of restaurants and cool spots to visit.

Nice and clean rooms. Although the shower was clogged, the hotel's personnel was very efficient on fixing it. Room service was also fast and efficient on our needs. The rooms smelled really nice and were very very clean. The location is also a good point, near by the touristic part of lombard st, the Marina, and full if public transportation around.
