The inn was wonderful for our family of 4. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. Excellent service at check in and check out. We loved the walk ability to the Disney museum and lawn with views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Breakfast and wine/cheese were great! Don’t miss the cookies!

The Inn at the Presidio is a charming, historic boutique property. The rooms are large and comfortable—more boutique than modern—and the bathrooms follow the same style. The hotel has character without feeling outdated, which is a rare balance. Breakfast was not bad, and the fire pit is lit during wine happy hour in the evenings, adding a cozy touch. The views look out onto the Presidio park, and the location is extremely quiet and serene. It feels more like a hidden retreat in the woods than a hotel inside a major city. It is a long walk to anywhere, but Uber or Waymo make getting around easy. The property is also well-situated for quick trips in and out of the city via the Golden Gate Bridge. Another big plus: it’s dog-friendly. Overall, a peaceful, historic, tucked-away spot with spa

I am a fan of the Inn at the Presidio, having stayed there maybe 10 times over the years. Basically, you are in the middle of a giant park. Owls hoot at night and there is a trailhead at the parking lot. There are at least two restaurants in the Presidio and I liked the Mexican one that is about a block away - a bit pricey but very good food with good service.||||I had a two-room + bath suite in the main building. It is very quiet and serene. There is a view over the base to Angel Island in the bay. One can see ships passing by as well as the occasional rainbow. The room was nice with a sofa and two chairs and a desk in the main room, which also has a gas fireplace. There is a great Nespresso coffee maker as well as refrigerator with a normal array of treats. The bedroom also has

Easy access from Golden Gate Bridge into a lovely historic Inn which has been brought up to modern comfort while leaving “old fort” charm. Uber into city very easy (Waymo doesn’t go there yet). Great walking, 2 museums, Tunnel Top park with another awesome view. Quiet, refined setting. Courteous & helpful staff. There is a “Lodge” & “Inn” online booking. I called to make reservations after looking online. Small fee for extra adult child to stay and other family to meet us for wine & cheese.

This was my first time staying at the Inn at the Presidio (we normally stay at the Lodge at the Presidio). It's much smaller than the Lodge, and I liked that instead of a formal front desk counter, they have a more intimate set up in a side room, with someone sitting behind a desk and chairs for you to sit in while you check-in. ||The Inn is in a historic building and it is extremely well-built. The walls are thick, so you never hear your neighbors.||We stayed in one of the suites, which has a separate seating area with a sofa bed - perfect if you're traveling with your kid. The seating area is quite spacious. The bathroom is big, as well. There's a Nespresso machine and bottled filtered water. Mini bar prices are surprisingly reasonable.||They have wine and cheese every night from 5pm-7pm
