Positive: The room was very clean Negative: The bed needs more pillows

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. We had a reservation pre booked and paid for upfront to ensure a seamless smooth stay ans we took a road trip for Valentine’s Day, and on Airbnb there was a ton of false advertising leading us to think this was similar to embassy suites (clean, family friendly and safe) and upon arrival we were told we had a reservation but they were all sold out of rooms with double beds. It was just myself and my significant other so we didn’t need the double bed. They said again all rooms are booked up however someone else with a reservation for a single bed haven’t showed up yet and they would give us that room. (Ok fine- even though we paid extra for the double beds) upon entering the room it smelled like marijuana and cigarettes and stale alcohol and mil

Very disappointing, it started with a very unfriendly staff member at checkin. Got to our room which was surprisingly tiny for what was considered a suite. The T.V. didn’t work and had to go back to the desk. Asked unfriendly staff member to address the problem. Next surprise, for a suite with a kitchen there were non of the following present: plates, glasses, utensils, toaster, coffee maker…everything that is typically included with a suite. Came to find out later you can get these items at an additional charge. The bed was a glorified cot with 2 pillows and what I can only describe as a hospital quality blanket. You can see this in the picture attached. Attempted to call down to the front desk for additional pillows and no answer, no one was manning the desk to address the request

I am writing this view upon remembering my experience staying at this hotel in July of 2021. If you don't feel like reading this entire review - to summarize, it was the most horrific hotel stay I have ever experienced, and the sole reason why I now never book anything that's apart of this chain, or under 4 stars. I was travelling to the Scranton area in July of 2021 for a solo trip to see a friend, and I had booked this hotel room because I was a broke college student and it was cheap. The check in process was smooth and the staff helpful/friendly, but the issues I had were surrounding safety, and hygiene. When I walked to my room after checking in, I recall seeing numerous doors open with people seeming tweaking out and high on drugs who did not bother to close them, when I arrived in

Awesome place to stay. Pets are welcome here which is a gigantic plus for me. The staff are the best part of my stay. Friendly, respectful and go out of their way to help the guests they have. Thank you all so much.
