Days Inn by Wyndham Wilkes Barre

Clean. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Price is right. Hotel is showing its age but otherwise the location was handy to restaurants etc. and pretty close to the I-81.

It was a fantastic experience! The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot! My truck was outside my room in a well lighted parking lot! Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again and recommend when traveling on 81..

Best place I've stayed on my journey from the Florida Keys to upstate NY! Exceptionally clean, responsive caring staff, they even came and retrieved the important medicine I dropped that went under the head of the bed in the middle of the night! And allowed a late check out because of the circumstances. Very comfortable, easy in and out of Wilkes Barre. Thank you for a great overnight pause in a difficult trip. I'm 75, so it's not often I am this thrilled with hotels. I think the worker wiping down the elevator expressed it best when I complimented him, "It's really because of the top management that we do so well. They care and it makes us want to work harder and do better". I agree. Take care of your employees and they will rise to new levels to take care at work!

It's a little creepy when you take your animal outside. Not to mention, it's not that great of a hotel, but better than some. I didn't like u can't have visitors come to see u there, nor can u leave your pets indoors alone someone has to always stay in the room. It's dumb and its the same breakfast everyday and the put out only 5 or 6 breakfast sandwiches at a time so u don't want to eat because of all the others that have to eat. My cereal was stale, both kinds 😩 and they only have few items......and having some healthy choices on the other hand is always a good choice. They have to try to clean up the outside cause it doesn't feel safe and people sitting in there cars wasn't many but scary. At least it was quite and comfortable 🤷 for our stay.
