Hampton Inn & Suites Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA

Will definitely stay here again! Mark at the front desk provided exceptional 10/10 customer service — friendly, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable about the area. The hotel and rooms were clean and well maintained. Complimentary coffee, tea, fresh fruit (apples, bananas, oranges), and cookies are available 24/7. Breakfast was good offering eggs, sausage, potatoes, a waffle maker with different flavored batters (vanilla is offered daily, while chocolate, cinnamon swirl, and banana rotate), etc. The location is very convenient, with stores and restaurants right across the highway.

Didn’t make reservation till I seen Hotel. Wanted to make sure it wasn’t a sketchy area. I told Brianna at the deck why and she told me it was a very good area not to worry. She also bragged about the house keeping staff being the best and second to none. I’ve never had someone at the front desk tell me that. After I got to the room and looked around I have to agree with her. The room was spot less !!|I don’t write reviews but this one deserves it. |Very nice from the time I walked in to the time I walked out !!!

Positive: The staff was very friendly and accommodated our late night check in. Negative: The bedding was very cheap.. sheets very thin and didn’t even cover full mattress. Don’t look like there were mattress pads.

As a girl with hair.... It sucks when you have spend extra time in the shower to wash your hair. And the water does a weird lower pressure thing after about 10 mins. Clean rooms, nice staff, hot and pool are nice. Breakfast is alright.

Front desk was above and beyond friendly. We encountered about 4 different people during our stay at the front desk and not one bad grumpy apple. They were awesome. Upon check in Amanda made me feel welcome and that my two dogs were welcome as well. Pool and hot tub very clean. Breakfast was good. Room spotless and beds comfortable. Hotel was walking distance to a few chain restaurants and the arena. Will definitely be back
