The Woodlands Inn and Resort

Had a wonderful experience at the woodlands. The staff was amazing. The restaurants were great. The property was very clean and well kept. The grounds are beautiful. The room was immaculate. Very quiet. The price was great. It was in the perfect location for what we were doing. Very close to seven tubs recreation area which is great for hiking and very close to the casino which is awesome for some night time adult fun. It was just about the perfect getaway. Oh and very dog friendly.

Got a creek view room, that was nice. The guy handling the free breakfast did a great job. That's the end of things I liked her. The room I was in was repaired poorly. They cut a square of wallpaper and stapled it to the wall. Floor needs anti slip strips, shower too. My mil was with us and this place isn't great for anyone with mobility problems. Long hallway with several stairs just to get to the buffet area.

It’s not like my husband and I to leave bad reviews for businesses because we want others succeed. However, this place was honestly the second to worth hotel we’ve ever booked, (and refused to stay in) in. We were on a traveling vacation with our son and daughter in law, sightseeing in Pennsylvania, (which is a beautiful State and must see). We rented two rooms at the Woodland Inn and resort (deceiving name) in Wilkes-Barre Pa. When we arrived we noticed that there were automatic air fresheners sitting on the floors and hung along the ceiling and small fans sitting on the floor. I told my husband that the place smelled like sewage. It was dark and nothing seemed updated or even cleaned properly. We had been traveling and were famished, so we, dropped off our luggage and left for lunch. We

My husband and I got married at The Woodlands this past August. It was beyond beautiful. Almost our whole wedding stayed at The Woodlands, including us. From our guests and family, we have heard nothing but great compliments regarding their stay at The Woodlands. Everything was on site which made it absolutely perfect for everyone and it was such a wonderful time for all to say the least. We kept getting the question “how did you find this place?” because of how convenient and amazing of a time it was. Crecenzos and Shogun were amazing restaurants which we will all be visiting again! As for our wedding, I cannot thank the staff at The Woodlands enough for being so kind and making our stay pleasant. My wife and i have stayed here 4 times. We loved the staff they are all pleasant. But this past week we stayed for 4 days and unfortunately will not be returning. We were told they had a change in management. The menu at the pizza restaurant has been cut in half. Very little options. We went to the lobby to get coffee 3 times and it was completely empty and was told it had to be ordered. We couldn't enjoy the pool. It was so dirty you couldn't even see the bottom of it. The water was a grey color and smelled terrible. The halls smelled like wet moldy rugs. The staircase were all leaking and no signs of wet when slippery. Bathtub was dirty. Wasn't clean until we stepped out the 2nd day and left a tip. The bar staff was extremely nice and social. The breakfast has very limited items. We wi
