Wingate by Wyndham West Monroe

I will have to say that we have gotten the most amazing service while staying here… the staff has been more than helpful and very delightful… courteous… compassionate… understanding… especially with the amount of rooms they are having to clean and been so accommodating to all residents staying here… most of their employees are staying in rooms overnight to make sure we are all taken care of!! Not one time have I seen anyone being rude or disrespectful…from staff or the residents!! I am sure the employees are exhausted but you can’t tell by their actions… kindness… helpfulness!! I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who has family coming in town.

The bathtub had the faucet spout just laying in the bathtub. Water leaking in the wall. When I went to the front to tell them. They said they said they had no more rooms. I told the lady in the front “ok just cancel my hotel stay for tomorrow then.” She canceled 2 nights. She was on the phone I guess she assumed thats what I said but she didn’t hear me cause she was on phone. I said “no tomorrow’s stay.” She got in my room again but before charging my card again. Without my authorization. I didn’t make the mistake you did. What is going on here are they just stealing from hotel guests? I SUGGEST YOU GO TO A DIFFERENT HOTEL WHERE THEY DONT STEAL YOUR MONEY AND WHERE THE BATHROOMS WORK.

I didn't have high hopes going into this place but we gave it a shot since the rest of our group had already booked here. While we were able to get a good night's rest, this place is very dated, falling apart, and needs a whole lot of TLC. Bathrooms were dirty when we got here, the remote for the TV had the batteries taped in, the chair was stained from age and more. The bed linens at least seemed clean. While we were in the lobby it's very dated, missing ceiling tiles, the bathroom stalls were out of order or didn't lock. The staff seemed nice enough from the little bit of interaction we had. Overall I think this is just a very poorly maintained property by Wyndham with years of disrepair.

Positive: The staff was so helpful and kind. From the front desk to housekeeping. Negative: My suggestion would be to spray the rooms for bugs; in the bathroom there were insects.

The bed looked like someone checked out and they remade it and let us stay. The bathroom was dirty, the toilet needed cleaning and so did the tub. Wasn't too concerned, we were just passing through. Next morning woke up to check out, there was a big roach in the bathroom. Time to go. Do yourself a favor and dont stay here. Its cheap for a reason
