Motel 6 West Monroe, LA

Very convenient location especially Duck Commander and Restoration Park.Room was very clean and quiet.Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Motel 6 - West Monroe Absolutely the most disgusting hotel/motel I’ve ever stayed at. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemies! Heater unit didn’t work at all. It was in low 30’s all night and the paper-thin blanket didn’t help keep me warm. I had heat at 79 degrees and full blast. Only in vain. It was clogged with rust, mold and dust. Speaking of blankets. It was covered with cigarette burns all over. It had holes all over it and full of disgusting stains. Same with the sheets. Floor and ceiling are very noticeably outdated. Smoke detectors were missing. It shows Fire Department or Health Department hasn’t visited this forsaken place in years. Bathroom and shower were just as gross. Full of mold and stains. Towels visibly showed stains and human hair. I didn’t even bother taking a

I wasn’t expecting it to be a top tier motel, no. For the price, I was expecting a motel to shower, lay our heads and rest. The basics, ya know considering that it was in fact MOTEL 6. But I wouldn’t even give this dump 1 star.. upon check in, the lady at the front desk was nice. Gave us our room keys and we went to our room. The minute we got to the door, I smelled cigarettes strong. I thought it was just coming from outside. When we walked in, the room felt muggy and had an awful smell. I had to go to the DG to get freshener spray. We had gotten there a bit late so we just laid down for the night. The following morning while my husband was at work, I stayed at the motel with my 2 year old and 7 month old. They of course like playing on the floor with toys. I picked my 7 month old up and

Positive: Location and front desk person Negative: There was a roach on one of the beds when we entered the room. We didn't see any others, but I was uncomfortable through the night, wondering if another was going to show up.
