Hampton Inn West Monroe

I am picky about hotels! I like fresh and clean smelling lobbies and rooms. I like linens that feel like they just came off a clothesline. I like a bed that is comfortable and options on the pillow firmness. Clean rugs, nice towels. This place has it all. Slightly more costly than some others( I don’t go for the lowest cost anymore) but my dog doesn’t pace anxiously due to smells and I don’t worry about creepy crawlies. I like a staff that says hello to both me & my dog and smile. Both Rodney at night and Kaitlin were helpful and nice. The breakfast was delicious with quality food service. Oh and there is good food within a 3 minute drive. Our choice:The Laughing Crab! We loved our stay but alas only there one night. We stayed here while visiting family and have nothing but positive things to say about our stay. The room was nice and newly updated, the gym was amazing, and the location was perfect. My favorite part was the breakfast. They had a little waffle station set up with everything you could want, we were both so sad having to leave it behind on our last morning. I would highly recommend if staying in the area! We are already talking about coming back for our next visit!

My last review of this property was negative. We decided to try it once more, though, and it was like night and day. The newly remodeled rooms look great! Fresh and modern and comfy. It’s back on my good list!

Whoa. Was a 10/10 for us. Was exceptionally clean for a hotel (the hallway even smelled good of all things-ha) quiet, comfy bed, good breakfast, great shower with massage setting and glass doors. I liked that the head of the bed was against the bathroom instead of someone else's room. This will be our hotel when we return to W. Monroe. Oh, and Rodney at the front desk last night was great!
