Comfort Suites West Monroe near Ike Hamilton Expo Center

This is my first time staying at this Comfort Suites hotel. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and there is also a Walmart (Neighborhood Market) within walking distance. Nicole, the front desk agent, was super sweet and informative. She notified me of the breakfast and evening bar times. I enjoyed talking to her. The lobby area is really nice and modern. Now...to our room. The microwave had its best days; there was rust and chipping paint on the inside of the microwave. Not safe at all! I took pictures. You could tell that the toilet seat was old; there were "urine stains" around the inner rim. I took pictures of that as well. Our overnight stay at this hotel was absolutely comforting. Our room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable for a -much needed- rest & sleep. Hotel staff was friendly & welcoming, the manager made time to give us a tour of the lobby & buffet. Learned more about W. Monroe & surrounding areas. Hotel lobby was beautifully decorated with local photos of the area. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend staying here for a night or more. Well worth the price. Thank you W. Room was nice and clean. Only one half roll of TP, but it was just enough. Morning staff less than friendly, but in no way rude…just not typical southern hospitality or charm. Bacon at breakfast so that’s ALWAYS a big plus, no matter how thinly sliced it is…Several choices, offering both waffles, pancakes and big muffins. Also, had a small bar within the hotel (we didn’t use, but seemed more than sufficient).

Overall, we had a great stay. The service was really good. Staff was easy to find and was extremely helpful. Plenty of dining options are located close by. Ms. Brandy’s customer service was awesome. She made the five star review possible. Ask for her if you’re staying!

Positive: The breakfast was great and clean. The staff was really friendly and lobby clean & easy process to check in room Negative: The room was a good size and good size bathroom. Only thing i didn't like, the room and bathroom needs to be clean way better. Mop, sweeping and wipe down walls and border on the walls & all furniture. Just wipe down yourself everything 😉
