Wilkes Barre Lodge

The place had a bad reputation some time ago. Looks like it has improved. New owners, I'm guessing. Room was clean, bed and pillows were good. Freshly remodeled, looked like. Minor things: could use a blow dryer, maybe a rack with hangers. If you're coming down Kidder St., you have to go around the block. You can only access it from the northbound side. Would stay again if I was in the area.

The staff there was excellent, very friendly and helpful, fast service. The room was very comfortable and environmentally exquisite I loved the atmosphere. I would highly recommend people to go stay there. Very satisfying. 🥰🥰🥰

We stumbled upon this motel online, read the reviews, and decided to give it a shot! The front office woman was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I requested a late check-out, and she didn’t hesitate to approve it. While most check-outs are at 11 am, and late check-outs are usually at 12 pm, she was exceptionally accommodating and extended our check-out time to 1 pm. The hospitality at this motel was truly exceptional. The parking was also very convenient, right in front of our room. Now, let’s move on to the room itself. Although it was small, it was perfect for two people. It had a king-size bed that was comfortable and well-firm, and the blankets were warm and cozy. The bathroom was lovely, and the shower water pressure was adequate. The only issue I encountered with the room was
