Whitehouse Motel

My two toddlers woke up covered in bed bug bites. While feeding them, I actually saw 3 bed bugs on the bedspread which freaked me out because I’ve never seen bedbugs in real life. I bring it to the housekeepers attention and she argues that they don’t have bed bugs (you clearly see them in pix from their reviews) and hangs up on me. There has to be a way to report them for this. This is disturbing. My poor babies smh

This was not our best hotel/motel experience! We arrived too late to make a fuss, too tired to do much more than check for bugs. But we did notice the dirty toilet, the burned-out lightbulb in the bathroom, and the cigarette burns in the thin bedspread (which was the only cover besides the sheet). The nasty air freshener was further proof that this non-smoking room was formerly a smoking room, and they were simply trying to cover up any residual smoke smell. Very inexpensive, but we definitely got what we paid for!

After waiting over half an hour for the front desk to grace us with her delightful presence this was the state of the room offered. No smoke detectors (illegal) mold everywhere (lovely) as well as stained bedding covered in cigarette burns. After complaining to the front desk was told that "if you want good service and a nicer room you need to book with a chain" Utter trash. Good riddance.

It's the absolute worst place that I have ever been to. I waited almost half an hour for somebody to come to the desk. I was told if I wanted better service that I need to go to a better hotel. When I finally got to my room, it was completely filthy, and the couch was torn apart. I went to the front to get another room, and the one that I got it was just as bad. Stains on everything you can tell nothing has been washed. The pillows are disgusting, burn holes in the sheets, and everything, just an absolute mess! And let's not forget about the spider webs in the corners and spiders in the bathtub. Look at the photos. Stay away!

Not the best place to go for a family overnight stay. The area was depressed and scary at night with questionable people in and out of rooms all night. I would suggest paying a little more and driving a little further to an area not as run down and unkept.
