Residence Inn by Marriott Richmond Midtown/Glenside

We spent one night at this Residence Inn during our visit to Richmond, and it proved to be an excellent choice for our family. From check-in to departure, everything was great. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They were consistently helpful, friendly, and attentive. It's clear that customer care is a priority here, and it made a real difference in our experience. Our room was large — perfect for a family stay. The beds were comfortable, and the overall layout was thoughtfully designed to maximize space and comfort. The complimentary breakfast had a solid variety of options to start the day. Everything was well-stocked and ready when we came down in the morning.

From the moment we pulled in, this hotel didn’t just meet our expectations - it completely surpassed them!!! Everything was spotless, fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed to make guests feel comfortable and cared for. The amenities were truly impressive: a welcoming café and bar, a perfectly stocked snack shop, fun lobby games and activities, a cozy fire pit and BBQ area, an impressive breakfast spread, a great dog area, and even fresh popcorn that made the whole place feel extra homey. Our room was spotless, beautifully laid out, and incredibly comfortable - truly a perfect place to relax. We needed a last-minute hotel and were happy to find this one! Dylan was very helpful in finding rooms for our group, going above and beyond. We were all impressed and felt well taken care of by the staff. The lobby had a bar, lots of options in the shop, and complimentary popcorn and other amenities. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and we loved having the kitchen available. We would stay again!

Love this hotel! Rooms are huge and spacious, and come equipped with all the commodities you would need for a staying a whole week. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating, and this time we tried the food from the bar and had one of the best bacon cheeseburgers I’ve had in a long time! I think the chef’s name was Blaine, and he did an excellent job! Location is great. close enough to Scott’s addition for a cheap uber but far enough away from the city that it’s quiet. The only complaint I have is the parking. Unfortunately, this hotel shares a common lot with a neighboring hotel, and by around 9:00 all the main parking was gone.
