White Swan Inn

A beautiful place. And can park on the street, been here twice with no issues. Just have to repark when street cleaner comes by. Amazing staff. We were able to change rooms after we arrived. We wanted a bathtub. We plan to always book here in the future.

We truly enjoyed calling this wonderful unique hotel home for 5 nights. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated and spacious. It was a great, safe location. The wine and nibbles is a nice touch and great way to relax in front of the fireplace with eclectic decor. Loved the old fashioned elevator. All the employees were friendly and professional.

Its a nice hotel, just not for me. Too much sunlight and no curtains to block off the sun. I like it dark. No A/C, I get hot easily. But staff brought me a fan, which i appreciated. TV is kind of old but not ancient..., mine barely worked. Thank god i always bring my own hdmi cable. I saw the pictures online before booking, and i had my doubts, but the very good reviews made me try it out. I would recommend this hotel to someone who likes old/vintage stuff.

My stay at the White Swan Inn was an absolute delight – the perfect romantic getaway! This quaint boutique hotel exudes old-world charm with its welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and beautifully decorated areas. .|The highlight was undoubtedly the in-room fireplace. After a day exploring the city, coming back to turn on the fire (it was a convenient gas one with a simple switch) created the most relaxing ambiance. Curling up with a book or a glass of wine in front of the crackling flames made evenings feel magical. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, with plush bedding and thoughtful touches like soft lighting and comfortable seating right by the fire. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here decades ago and was pleasantly surprised to see the two side-by-side bed and breakfast hotels maintained so well and still quite reasonably priced given big-city costs these days. We walked to Grace Cathedral and had lunch afterwards at the gorgeous Fairmont Hotel so the location was perfect-- close to Union Square which is slowly recovering. We loved our room and breakfast room and selections plus the fact you can open the window for fresh air. Very pleasant staff. My only criticism is lack of GF options but there was plenty to fill up on.
