West Oak Bed & Breakfast

My wife and I have stayed in just about all their different rooms or cabins over the fifteen years on our weekend trips from Atlanta. Prior to that we used to camp at Deep Creek, but now we prefer convenience of staying here. Merecedith is always accommodating and the perfect host. Personally we like cabin #2 the best. You can count on the room being clean while enjoying the view and a peaceful rejuvenating visit to Bryson City. Being on the edge of town you can walk or drive to downtown area or train. Being closer in you should have no trouble with cell phone signal either. The driveway is steep for about 50 feet but is paved and should not present any problems for average driver. Turn around at end does require a three point turn but again should not be a problem for anyone with

West Oak Bed & Breakfast was great. My family and I traveled to Bryson City for the Christmas weekend 2017 to get on the Polar Express. But who would have thought that staying at this B&B would have been one of the best high points. For a small Cabin it was very spacious. Decent size room with a Queen size bed and a full bath. In the living area it had a pull out sofa bed for the kids to sleep on. I was really impressed with the kitchen and how it had all the kitchenware needed to make dinner as if I was back at my own home. From our dining room table we were able view the city and mountains while eating breakfast and dinner. It was absolutely breathtaking. My husband and I went to Bryson City for a day and decided to stay overnight. I looked for places online and saw this location. I called and Mercedith had a cabin for us. When we arrived she was very nice and we talked for a while. She is a very nice lady. As stated in another review, it's as if we had known her for a very long time. The cabin that she gave us was very clean and well kept. It had a wonderful view from the balcony of the town and the mountains. We had no problems of any kind. The next day when we were planning on leaving we decided to stay for another night because we liked where we were as far as the cabin and the town. We hated to leave. I highly recommend West Oak Bed and Breakfast.

Stayed two nights in one of the cabins here. Our trip was decided a bit last minute but we were lucky to find accommodation here. The view, the comfortable cabin that had a perfect little kitchenette and a clean bathroom was ideal for us as a couple traveling with our 4 year old. Restaurants and shops were at walking distance although we drove around the city because it was quite cold at the time! Would love to visit the city and stay here again!

We stayed in cabin #5 over Thanksgiving. The place was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The cabin was the perfect size for two people. There is a large deck with a great Mountain View. An above ground fire pit was included, so we were able to have an outdoor fire and roast marsh mellows. We told the owner ahead of time that it was our anniversary and she had flowers and champagne waiting for us in the room!
