The Everett Hotel

Hands down, one of the most charming and welcoming hotels we've stayed in. The attentiveness from the staff and the owners to us as guests, but also as people was incredible and made this stay particularly warm and special. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and luxuriously appointed. The restaurant is small and cozy and serves up delicious meals for breakfast and dinner (reservations strongly recommended) and the cookies are a lovely touch. Coffee is available in the common area on the 2nd floor througout and there is a lovely rooftop lounge with a firepit. We booked our return trip before we checked out! Thank you Ron, Scott, Kira and Daniel for making this such a memorable experience and potentially creating an annual tradition for our family!

My wife and I stayed one night at The Everett to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary, and we couldn’t have asked for a more memorable experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is full of charm and character, beautifully repurposed from a 1908 bank building. Its location is ideal — right next to the river, with plenty of shops and the Great Smoky Mountain Railway just a short walk away. We especially loved the rooftop sitting area with a cozy firepit — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the view. Dinner at the hotel’s Bistro was a highlight. My wife had the trout with polenta cake, I had the beef stroganoff, and we shared the bread pudding for dessert — every bite was delicious. Our stay at the Everett hotel was perfect. It is such a quaint yet comfortable hotel with great attention to detail. We happened to come right before the city Christmas tree lighting just next to the hotel and my husband and I felt like we were in a hallmark movie, complete with hot chocolate and carolers. The staff knew parking would be tricky when we checked in due to the town Christmas activities, and they called us to let us know they had a parking spot blocked off for us. |The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful; the room and bed so comfortable ;the restaurant was outstanding. Our meals were great and craft cocktails were perfect. Loved the included breakfast, the rooftop gathering spot with firepit. We will absolutely come back!

Awesome place to stay in beautiful western NC. Our second stay. This time for our wedding night. Great people and service. Room was perfect. Breakfast in the bistro was excellent. To top it off I forgot a pair of dress shoes the morning we checked out. Owner called me that morning to tell me he was sending them by fedex to me. Can’t get much better.

My husband, Tom, and I could not be happier with what a great experience we had at The Everett Hotel. It was everything we could want - clean, and comfortable with outstanding hospitality and service. Special thanks go to owners Ron and Scott, and our gracious servers, Kira, Ciera and Amber. The food was fresh, and delicious. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer - this time. We have been telling all our friends about it - and look forward to being back.
