A hidden gem. This new campground featured 5 “tiny houses”. Located about halfway between Nantahala Gorge and Bryson City, overlooking a small valley, we found the location perfect. At night you can hear some traffic from the highway below, but it’s not bad. The tiny houses are nicely equipped and decorated. We would certainly stop here again. Cam and Jenna, who manage the property are very friendly, outgoing and helpful. Very charming.
The tiny cabin was perfect for our little weekend getaway away with our pups! It’s cozy with the comfortability of home with the appliances, bathroom & TV. I wouldn’t say it’s an escape to nature bc you don’t have much personal outside space but there is definitely plenty of nature to go out and explore in the area. I would recommend to anyone looking to get some R&R or as a landing spot between all the adventures.
If you're looking for a great place to stay in the mountains, look no further. The tiny homes/ cabins are GREAT! They come fully furnished with fluffy towels, all the amenities of home, and the host is wonderful! This campground/cabin rental is in a beautiful area with lots of privacy and is nice and quiet, unlike other places I've stayed. Also, this is just minutes from the Nantahala Outdoor Center -- if you want to go kayaking, tubing, or whitewater rafting, it's great to be able to come back to a beautiful and quiet place where you can put your feet up on the porch while you watch the sunset over the nearby mountain ridge. The town of Bryson City is also nearby, and offers many train excursions for the day, not to mention it is a great place to shop, dine, or see the sights. I wil
I stayed in one of the tiny cabins for almost a week and really enjoyed my time. Having a full kitchen, full bath, and laundry made the stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. I hope to stay here again in the future and can’t recommend it enough!
Great little spot for an overnight, pull through spots had plenty of room. We’ll have to come back for a longer stay, lots to explore in this area. Only critique… there is no signage at the turn off from the main road, and it is down a narrow gravel road. Coming in at night we missed the turn off and had to go about half a mile down the main road to find somewhere big enough to turn our camper around.
