Waverly Lodge

Matt & Lori were terrific VRBO hosts. We enjoyed Waverly Lodge over Memorial Weekend to celebrate a milestone wedding anniversary with family converging on Maggie Valley from all over the country. The large home that makes up the lodge provided comfortable accommodations for the 11 people that stayed at this beautiful location in the wooded mountains of Maggie Valley. The lodge is also very convenient to many activities in and around the area. We went rafting in Bryson City and took a ride on the Smoky Mountains Railroad. The generous sized kitchen and dining arer easily provided room for large gatherings. We recommend Waverly Lodge from our experience, especially for larger families.

We lucked out and were able to stay here with our entire family for a week. I've stayed in many time share locations, as well as several AirBNB homes, and this was one of the best experiences to date. The cabin is beautiful. My only regret is that we didn't get to stay here during the winter. The only issue we ran into was losing the AC, but even in June the temperature wasn't too bad. The owners are attentive and easy to reach should a problem arise. They provide all of the comforts of home. TV with cable, bbq grills, a hot tub, pool table, fire pit, and plenty of rooms and bathrooms for multiple families. The kitchen is wonderful, with a large dining table to accompany it. Wonderful cabin to visit for our vacation! Great setup for a family with lots of room and a very cozy vibe! The owners were great and very attentive. Highly recommend this place! We will definitely be back!

the waverly lodge is amazing. I love the interior decoration of the lodge and the atmosphere is magical. spending a few nights In maggie valley at the lodge is a great way to relax and regenerate from the busy city life. the view from the decks is awesome, and the jacuzzi is always a fun time in the winter. beautiful place that I would want to just live at if i could.

The couches were worn out with bad stains; for some reason, we couldn't get the TV's to work in some of the rooms. The beds were comfortable. The location was nice!
