Cardinal Inn

This is hands down the BEST hotel you will find in Maggie! Myself and many, many, of my friends stay here every August for a car show right across at the fairgrounds. The women who run this inn are always so kind, generous, and fun to chat with. Extremely pet friendly, clean, and they offer much more that any other hotel I've been at before. The fire pit? Huge bonus. I will continue to come back multiple times a year because I love it so dearly. I wish I could give more stars.

The Cardinal Inn is everything a small motel should be. Clean, comfortable, charming. Parking was right outside our door. Our room was nicely decorated, with two queen beds, two chairs, a microwave, mini fridge, large flat screen tv with lots of channels, designer shower with shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser. I loved the special touches like packs of Swiss Miss hot chocolate and microwave popcorn and the little rubber duck in the bathroom. I rarely am able to sleep in motels but I actually was able to sleep both nights we stayed. There were two rockers outside our door and lots of chairs sprinkled around the lawn and firepit. Our group sat at the fire late through the night. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at the Cardinal Inn. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about

You're in the middle of Maggie Valley and a short drive to Waynesville. The rooms are clean and look recently updated. There's a TV with cable, a small fridge, microwave, a heater and a small AC unit. The only thing that I wasn't a fan of was the tankless water heater because it took a very long time to get hot water. My MiL had a bigger room with a small kitchen and a table. The kitchen has basic cookware and dishes. We are planning to stay there again in March.

This place met and exceeded our expectations! We always take our little Chihuahua with us when we vacation. The room has a nice kitchenette, a dining table, a love seat and two double beds with room for a pet bed. Motel management was super helpful even calling us before we arrived.

Looking for a place to stay while in this area of Western North Carolina stop u found it. This small mom n pop is perfect it’s Extremely clean affordable and provides all u need. The front rockers in front of room were my favorite spot in mornings and evenings. At night the fire pit and smell of burning wood AMAZING. The personal touches all around including the ceramic cat and goats on the hill make it whimsical. Did I mention PET FRIENDLY HUGE BONUS!!! Thank u for for the accommodations.
