Falcon Ridge

My husband, my adult son, and I stayed here for a short getaway. We also brought our dog. The cabin was exactly as listed, and the directions were great! We did not see or hear another car nor any other people our entire stay at the property. The views from inside and outside the cabin were amazing! We enjoyed our quiet and peaceful stay, and we are already planning a return trip!

This is a sweet mountain paradise! We did a couple great hikes with Falcon Ridge as our home base. The deck hot tub was such a plus after a long day of exploring. We brought all of our food and drink (due to Covid 19 and uncertainty about shopping and restaurants). The cabin had everything we needed to get dinner cooked. If you want a fabulous view, you will encounter steep, curvy roads. Robin Roost does look daunting the first time, but we have all wheel drive and had no trouble. We did turn off the radio and had the windows down to listen for other cars. There are well placed areas to pull over at, if you do have to share the road. Why the Total Package?...1stly, FANTASTIC VIEW. Falcons Ridge is an absolutely comfortable place...it stayed warm with very little heat, the wood burning fireplace (with blower!!) was so nice, especially after coming in from enjoying the views from the hot tub. It was nice to have good internet. Brandon assured us that we would get used to the drive up, and we did. The grand finale, the battery in our car died and Brandon was a life saver finding someone to come jump us off. The entire time my husband was communicating with Brandon, he repeatedly said "This guy is so nice." We will be returning.

Brandon’s directions to find the house were perfect. He also gave great tips on getting up the mountain, which was REALLY appreciated! We drove a FWD vehicle and managed well. Home was cute and clean with beautiful views!

We were wanting some place with spectacular views and this home nailed it. I love the fact it’s only 5 min up the mountain but you still have great views. This home is close to everything. We ended up sleeping in the room with the smaller bed since there was a tv, but that was no big deal to us. The home had everything you need and was in working order. Hot tub worked great as well and has a great view from it! Really enjoyed our stay and would def come back to this home.
