Misty Creek Log Cabins

Cozy cabin with all the amenities right in the heart of Maggie Valley. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The location is close to shopping and dining. There's a small stream that runs right next to the cabin and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to it. The owner Bob is super nice and friendly. I highly recommend staying here. If you are lucky, you might get some of Bob's deliciously famous brownies!

My husband and I spent a few nights at Misty Creek in early October and we couldn’t have found a better place! It feels secluded yet close to shopping and restaurants. The cabin was clean and cozy and the deck was perfect for morning yoga and afternoon drinks. We took several day trips up the mountain to see the fall foliage and waterfalls and also walked the trail around Lake Junaluska. The Wheels Through Time museum was a short distance away and to our surprise was a highlight of our visit.||||We enjoyed our freshly baked brownies that Bob made for us. He is a great host and is very knowledgeable for any questions you may have about the area. We can’t wait to go back for another visit in the spring!

My wife and I drove the entire length of the Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge parkway to enjoy the fall colors. We stayed at six different spots on our trip and Misty Creek was our favorite. The cabin is beautifully furnished and the owner couldn’t be nicer. He’s almost obsessed with making sure everything is perfect. He meets you upon arrival to show you around and answer your questions. The cabin was exceptionally clean. The atmosphere is very peaceful. You can sit on the covered porch and relax looking at the numerous trees and small creek. Cabin amenities are great, full kitchen, large bath, comfortable bed and a gas fireplace. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip.

What a fantastic experience. There are two 1-bedroom cabins: my husband and I stayed in one and the couple we travel with stayed in the other cabin. The cabins are clean, cozy, well furnished, and homey. From beginning to end, Owner Bob has been warm, friendly, inviting and attentive, and baked us all brownies as a bonus. The cabins are in a quiet, natural setting less than 5 minutes from the main road. I can hardly wait for our next stay here!

This is about the 5th time I've stayed at Misty Creek and it gets better each time. Bob is one of the friendliest people I've met and makes the best family secret recipe brownies you have ever had. I cannot recommend a better place to stay.
