The Valley Inn

I stayed at the Valley Inn for 3 days and it was wonderful. Sue and her son or phenomenal hosts. Didn't know they had access to coffee all day and a light breakfast available everyday. That was a treat. Rooms were clean. The only thing I would recommend is a spot to put luggage on a luggage rack or chair behind the door. Otherwise you have to put your luggage on the floor. Other than that was the only thing negative about the room. The stream in the back and the access to fire and firewood is an extra bonus point. Also, location was great wherever you went. They also recommended restaurants which were excellent. And the price was excellent.. Great place for bikers. Not one bad day while I was there even when it rained. Will definitely seek this hotel out when returning to Maggie Valley!

Nasty wouldn’t walk on stained carpet without shoes and just ran down condition The Heating System smelled so bad we couldn’t use it ceiling fan dusty.

This motel has great scenic view on the backside of the motel. The beds were a little too hard for my taste but the extremely friendly staff made it worth the stay. We had a large group and they were so accommodating. It was cold and they let us put up tarps around the gazebo and have a heater out there. The rates were completely fair and well within our budget. I highly recommend this motel for a weekend getaway. This motel will definitely be our go-to for our annual group vacation.

Absolutely love this place. The owners are so accommodating. A group of us went up for the weekend and had a wonderful time. The rooms are not updated but very clean and the scenery on the backside is absolutely breathtaking. Very reasonable price. We have already booked our next get away there.

I have stayed numerous times at The Valley Inn. The previous owners Andy and Linda were such wonderful folks. Although I do miss them, the new owners do not disappoint. Sue and her son are very caring and attentive to any needs I may have, which is few, since the room is always clean, fresh towels and coffee is in the room readily available. Love the rocking chair porch. The creekside is so peaceful with a gazebo, swings and sitting by the fire pit at night, I have met some amazing people chatting the night away. This is my go to place when I want to visit the mountains. Cozy, comfortable and peaceful.
