My wife and I loved staying here before heading over to the nearby Swag! The owner is wonderful and takes great care to make sure that all of your needs are taken care of. Her breakfast was wonderful and she even saved dinner from the night before since there are few restaurants in the area. The lodge was charming and our room was cozy with a beautiful view of the mountains. Total relaxation and just down the street from the ski area. Stay here if you are in the area!

Dinner review!!! What a great meal! BYOB - so we arrived early and enjoyed some wine on the back porch with a gorgeous Mountain View. Once the Dinner Bell rang, it was inside to join another table of 4 (yep, family style) and the food parade started. A tossed salad with homemade yeast rolls and a herb butter. Then the main course - potatoes, Lima beans, squash casserole, fried apples, corn on the cob, and -tomato pie! Entree was a pork loin baked with local peaches. Nothing tremendously elegant - but absolutely delicious and fresh fresh fresh! Chocolate cherry cake for dessert and wonderful coffee. One price - $85 for 2.... A bargain! Service was pleasant, dining room charming, and inn itself is historically quaint! The absolute best of what mountain inns 'used to be'....

We've only gone to dinner here, many of times & have brought several new people who loved it. The food is amazing, so delicious, made with love I'm sure because the owner, staff are so friendly. Highly recommend this place but reservations are a must! It's a family style buffet dinner so you get what's on the menu for that night. Water, tea & coffee. You are able to bring your own small cooler/ beverage/ wine. They offer glasses & ice in the lobby. We usually arrive between 530 & 545pm, dinner is around 630. The waiting area has plenty of seating and a great view. We love it there! Sometime we may get a chance to book a room. They do family reunions, special events. Call ahead

We didn't stay there so I cannot comment on the rooms. But the atmosphere, setting, and food were all excellent. We're taking friends there soon.

A breathtaking location to bring you back to the beauty and peace the mountains have to offer. Tracy and her staff do a wonderful job of taking care of everything
