Waipouli Beach Resort

We had a great stay here with the family, including 2 small kids. Some of the advantages include: - A well-stocked, two bedroom apartment - steps away from a beautiful and quiet beach - kid friendly pool and hot tub on the property - across the street from a grocery store to stock up on most things

Could've had vending machines available with water, soda and cookies. Other than that everything was wonderful.

Resort doesn’t offer anything that can be close to 4 star. No host or resort employee knows premises after 7pm, it’s hard to connect with them on the provided number after hours. Overall pool is super kid friendly, always clean, very friendly security guards. Beachside restaurant Oasis is awesome, but strangely they work limited hours and closed in Sunday’s.

I paid 3k for 3 nights dec 26-29. It's pricey for last minute booking but it wasn't unworthy. The 2 br had excellent decor, high quality bed and bathrooms were clean and with all amenities. The pool was great fun for kids, parking not an issue and shopping complex right across with pretty central location. Does it worth 1k per night - highest premium - probably not in other places and due to supply issue Kauai is different, any decent place is expensive here and this place was pristine, I just wish Instead of Safeway view I had ocean view for this pricetag hence the 4* vs 5* rating. 5 star would have been if this had ocean view with this price range or location in princeville which has a gold course - for 1k a night.

First of all know this is not a hotel. So dont come thinking you will have the services offered at a traditional motel. This is basically a glorified air bnb. We had no issues. The place was clean felt secure the pool was warm and clean. They allowed us to have pool noodles so we were able to float and relax. Its right on the beach but its rocky so actually playing in the water here is limited. Our overall experience here was great.
