Customer Reviews
Excellent customer service. Makana was so sweet and helpful at check in. We did agree to sit through the Shell vacation club presentation, but never felt pressured into making a purchase. The presentation was interesting, and the representatives were very respectful of our time. The gift they offered, however, was not very helpful to us. The room had every amenity we could’ve asked for including a washer dryer. Our room had great AC in both the bedroom and living area. We were on the ground floor with an open patio or lanai in which you could see the ocean. The grounds were immaculate with beautiful landscaping. The pool was breathtaking and very relaxing. Resort was within walking distance to shopping and restaurants and other activities. We knew the water was not swimmable at our beach
My wife and I stayed two nights at this hotel in Kapa'a (on Kauai). The accommodation was clean and without any bad odors. There is NO elevator. But, because there are many chickens, staying on an upper floor may be better for noise. We could also see the ocean at an angle. That was a positive as was the beachwalk! There is a separate bedroom, bath, and kitchen/living room with pullout sofa. Because it is also a timeshare property, there are some kitchenware items, a fridge, stove/oven, and in sink disposal. Outside there are grills you can access. We used the washer dryer unit and it worked well. There is a covered parking lot. The location is about 5 miles from the Lihue Airport. Going north, there is a Safeway grocery store about a mile away.
My parents have been owners for over 30 yrs. Currently my dad has stage four cancer and is unable to walk without the assistance of a walker or wheelchair. My mom has requested an ADA room and when we got here were given a regular room with just a shower chair in the bathroom. The maintenance team came to try to install bars in the bathrooms and even they said they didn’t trust the safety of the room. We’ve been told two different days we can switch to an ADA room when available, but I guess until then hope my dad doesn’t hurt himself, right Kauai coast 🤷🏼♀️
Booked through Club Wyndham, resort is a Shell Vacation Club. No elevators. Room was on the second floor and you can hear the room above you walking around/opening and closing doors/etc. This bothered me much more than the roosters in the morning. Definitely DO NOT take the presentation “preview” for a “free Wyndham week”, it’s a 3rd party vendor and it’ll cost you more than if you were to make the reservation on your own. Don’t waste your time. Location is nice and is on the beach, but winter surf is rough and it isn’t recommended to swim. Downtown Kaapa is just up the road. Parking is free but definitely limited near the “villa” we were assigned. Not sure we will stay here again, but I did enjoy the 1 bedroom size room and (minimally obstructed) ocean view. Only one hot tub for
Arriving from Honolulu, where the accommodation was a bit of nightmare this place is a pure paradise. Apartments have 2 super large rooms, bathroom and toilet/bath tub super large too, everything super clean and functioning. In-suite Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, large cooker and stove, super large freezer and fridge, everything is thought through to the very little detail. Btw the freezer has a very efficient ice maker ❤️ Air con works in all rooms a keeps super nice temperature without cold breezes in one room only. Super balanced stuff - well done. Bathroom has two basins, mirrors, so especially for families it is amazing and spacious. Two tellies in apartment with about 100+ TV channels.Bedroom bed is Super King size, we slept there 3 with our 2 year old and had a c
