Kauai Shores Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Kauai Shores Hotel. The location is extremely convenient — just a short drive from Lihue Airport, which made traveling with our baby so much easier. Check-in was quick and seamless, and the property is right by the beach with a beautiful, well-maintained facility. We personally loved the room we stayed in. The bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of space for me, my husband, and our baby. We had enough room to set up a crib and even create a small diaper station without feeling cramped. That extra space made a big difference for our family. The shower was excellent — it got very hot (which I personally love!) and was easily adjustable. Everything in the room was very clean and well cared for. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to K

The staff were SO accommodating after another local resort cancelled our room reservation the day we landed - leaving us without a hotel or room to stay in for the first 3 nights of our 6 night stay. The front desk staff were truly amazing - so kind, courteous and very helpful. If we ever return to the island, we will choose Kauai Shores first! Also Lava Lava Beach Club is a hidden gem - Hawaiian pizza, Chef Special, coconut shrimp and the desserts are ALL to die for. Thank you Kauai Shores!!!

Loved our stay at Kauai Shores. Rooms were very clean, comfortable beds. We had an ocean view from our lanai. Since it was our second week in the islands, it was nice to have laundry facilities available. There was a lovely beach area as well as lawn area with yard games. Loved using the bikes to explore. The hotels location was great to go either west or north. The Lava Lava Beach Club was a bonus as we celebrated our 40th anniversary with a candlelight dinner on the beach. There is also a short boardwalk that runs along the beachfront that is great for walking or biking. The grounds/landscaping were immaculate and beautiful. Parking can be tight but they do have complimentary valet service if you can’t find a spot. We would definitely stay again.

Positive: Great location- we traveled between the north Shore and Poipu and this was the midpoint. Lively atmosphere here, lovely live music, lawn activities, clean pool, staff always cleaning the hotel. Free bike rental was awesome, we did that twice. Negative: ""

Had a great stay here. Older hotel that has been updated recently. Our room had a musty odor, but looked very clean so I think it's from age, but 1st impression made me deduct a star for that. Beds were comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. Lanai was great and we had kauai coffee in the room. They also provided refillable water bottles which was nice and had filtered water. On site laundry for $4 per load. Service was friendly, on site restaurant was good and convenient. We saw 2 pools, hot tub, nice beach out front, also bikes you can use, umbrellas and lawn games. There are some shops and restaurants within walking distance so you could do without a car, but I would highly recommend one for seeing the island. This location was a perfect base for site seeing around the islan
