This was one of the best things about our trip. So quaint and close to so many restaurants and shops.

Comfy bed, clean room, servicable bathroom. Allowed pets and had plenty of quiet areas for them to do there business. Heater didn't quite keep up with the 14 degree temps but they were happy to offer 2 portables that did the job.

We had a pleasant stay at Village Inn. Conveniently located off 321. Our room was definitely dated, but very clean and comfortable, especially the bed. Hard wood floors. Fairly quiet for being near 321. Very strong WiFi signal (better than a lot of places we've stayed at). Don't expect a lot of service or amenities like breakfast.

The Penthouse Suite is not worth the price. I expected a much better experience. First, check was slow, then to get to the entrance of the suite, you had to drive to the very back of the property to an obscure entrance that looked like a maintenance room entrance complete with cobwebs and needing a paint job. The smell upon opening the door was coming from heavy pee stains on the carpeted stair way. There were more than 10 visible dog pee stains on the carpet in the master bedroom as well. The overall layout was awkward. There was an odd room in between the bathroom and master bedroom with a large dinning table and no chairs. The decor was sloppy with tangled wires coming from the televisions. This was not what one would expect from a $400/ night accommodation. I do not recommend this pr

Unfortunately, this used to be our favorite place to stay in Blowing Rock but no more! We showed up, the grounds were not maintained . The floor was dirty in our room the back porch and backyard was full of leaves. We had our pet so we needed a place to sit outside and enjoy the sun, so I borrowed a broom from the hotel to clean off the porch. There are no longer any amenities such as continental breakfast in the main community area. The TV is now all streaming and the Internet would cut in and out, but we finally did get some consistency after day two. This is such a lovely location and perfect for a nice day in blowing rock, but some attention needs to be paid to the property. Never left a negative review.
