Alpine Village Inn

Great location and only a block to downtown. Stayed mid November and the price was very reasonable and room was very clean. Very nice couple and they gave us helpful tips on where to eat. Cute and comfortable room. Cute picture of their dogs.

We have been coming to Blowing Rock for over six years, and our heart broke a little when the historic Green Park Inn was demolished—it was our long-time go-to. Since then, we’ve stayed at Cliff Dwellers, but this weekend we decided to try something completely new and booked the Alpine Village Inn. Honestly? We should have tried this sooner! After fighting atrocious Friday traffic, this place was exactly the mountain oasis we needed. The room has a wonderful, clean, 'retro-chic' feel. Our room is a sunny yellow and feels more like a guest house than a motel. The fireplace was our non-negotiable for a “ 40-degree and lower” February weekend, and it does not disappoint. Love this hotel and this city. This hotel is extremely clean and the owners are very kind. I've stayed there several times throughout the last few years and have had good conversations with them before. I stayed again this past weekend and had a late arrival but they left a key out for us. When we left they expressed their gratitude for us staying with them. The place is very quiet and within walking distance of good restaurants and shopping.

We celebrated a co worker's retirement! The best weekend ever!! We ate dinner at the Best Cellar just one block away! Our rooms were beautiful & spotless ! Alpine Village is so conveniently located at all restaurants and shopping!! Our home away from home!!

Room was nicely decorated. Loved turning on the fireplace first thing in the morning to quickly warm up the room. Big TV with excellent pre-programming. Location was perfect and Charles/Cathy were delightful hosts. Bed was great as were the pillows. Especially liked the coffee maker, fridge, microwave and huge jet tub! I will come back next year with my sister.
