Hemlock Inn "A Blowing Rock Tradition"

The inn was easy to find right off the main rd in Blowing Rock & unlike most of the places in that area it actually had parking right outside the room door. It walking distance to all the shopping food and entertain in the area. The rooms weren't all stacked inside up and down a depressing hallway. Nope ur door opens up right outside in front of where you park so no carrying all ur luggage all around a hotel. It was decorated beautifully inside and out just perfect for the chilly autumn weather you could even sit in the rocking chair right outside ur room to enjoy the weather or smoke like i did. They had a large raised covered patio with a fire pit to enjoy. The room was decorated like a bedroom at a homey little farmhouse right down to the iron headboard on the Queen sized bed w/soft mat

We loved our quaint and rustic room. It was very accommodating with a comfy bed. The inn is small, peaceful and rustic !!! Just what we wanted for our mountain getaway. The owners were so kind and hospitable ! We’re looking forward to going back and staying longer.

Very friendly staff, pretty cozy rooms, location is great! You can easily walk to all shops and restaurants. We stayed at Hemlock Inn 3 times this past year. Each time we had a different room and we were happy with each one. Highly recommend!

Wonderful location one block off Main Street. Quaint and cozy. Loved the gazebo with firepit! Thor (owner’s golden retriever) made us smile every time we passed the office and saw him curled up on the chair.

We've come here the past 9 years and have loved it. The location can't be beat - it's convenient to the downtown area. You can explore without the drive or parking hassle. However, the last couple of times we've noticed the beds have become uncomfortable. We left a night early to avoid another sleepless night. Might be time for some new mattresses. The staff is always polite, though not always there.
