Viking Motel

Such a cute roadside motel in Two Harbors! Great location being right along the main road and close to everything. Also the best customer service from a motel we have ever experienced. That alone honestly made it a much more personable stay. We had an unexpected last minute change of plans during our trip in the area and were without a place to stay for a few nights. We pulled in just to see what the availabilty was and the owner walked right out to greet us, saying she could have a room ready for us within an hour. Kareen was SO friendly and welcoming from the start, giving us maps and all the local recommendations. And if you're a cat person, this is the place for you! Very nice service and the rooms were great. Everything clean and supplied. Wi-Fi was fast. Also, there is a large fluffy orange cat that greeted us in the office. Highly recommend!

It was very cozy for me! I love Mom and Pop hotels and this was it!. The owner was friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The owner gave me a run down on the restaurants and everything she had to say was positive and so I picked from there as to what type of food that I wanted. I was just spending the night and did sight seeing on the way. I definitely will stay there again.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. We did not have a reservation and last minute found this place. Nice room, small, but had everything we needed.

A perfect place to crash for a last minute getaway on the North Shore. Owner (and her two sweet cats) is lovely. Our room was clean, basic, and reasonably priced, especially compared to other options on the N Shore. Soaps in shower were a lifesaver for sweaty hikers. Stayed in the cabin closest to the highway and could not hear a thing. Absolutely recommend if you’re in a pinch and see a vacancy!
