Castle Haven Cabins

April 1-4, 2025. Highly recommend! This place is wonderful! Cabin was lovely and spotless, many windows looking directly onto Lake Superior, the owners are great, cabin is only 12 miles from town of Two Harbors, couple miles from Gooseberry Falls Park. We loved this place, can't wait to return next year!

We spent 2 nights at Castlehaven and it was amazing. The cabins are all perfectly placed with beautiful views of Lake Superior. It is conveniently located near Gooseberry Falls and other fun places along the shore. The cabin had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids and had a very clean bathroom with shower. One evening we built a fire on the rocks and roasted marshmallows. Our only disappointment was that the brewery located on the site was closed the days we were there. Otherwise it was perfect.

We love staying at Castle Haven with our two young kids and hope to come every summer for years. The cabins are well maintained and comfortable and have outstanding views of the lake. The shoreline is perfect with a mix of climbing rock and pebble beach. We appreciate the green space to for the kids run and play too. The owners are wonderful and have made our stays easy and delightful. The location is excellent too - very close to Gooseberry and Split Rock. The property is a good distance off 61 which helps with noise and makes it safer for children.

We stayed in cabin 5, May 2019. It is cozy and clean. There is a fully stocked kitchen with cookware, dishes and such. It has a microwave, toaster and coffeemaker as well. This cabin is steps from the lake with a beautiful view. There are also games to play and a small box TV. Beds are comfortable and so is the futon. They could use another comfortable chair near the fireplace for seating. We had 5 people and someone always had to sit at the kitchen table or lay on one of the beds if we were just relaxing in the cabin. We enjoyed the fireplace, as mother nature decided to throw us a curve ball and snow this 3rd weekend in May! Betty's Pies, Two Harbors and Gooseberry Falls are all very close. There is a list of lite cleaning they ask you to do before leaving, nothing over the top. Just wip

Small 2 bedroom cottages right along the shore of Lake Superior. Great views of the lake! Walking trails and a fairly easy walk to Gooseberry Falls State Park. Cabins have a fireplace and are comfortable for a couple or 4 people.
