Utica Rest Inn

I recently stayed for a week. It was very reasonable and I was very happy with my choice. I have 2 qualms...No microwave in the room ( there is a fridge). They have a communal microwave near the front desk, but those get nasty. Second, the shower adjuster was either stripped or something...adjusting a correct temperature was too time consuming and really frustrating. The housekeeper was a wonderful woman. My boyfriend and I are bicycle touring around the country, so we are familiar with budget motels. From my point of view I do not require the most updated decor, but I DO insist on very clean accommodations. If it’s not clean I have trouble relaxing. I’m also sensitive to smells (cigarettes, mold, etc) so I’m picky about that. ||The Rest Inn was very clean and completely odor free. Yes the room is dated but the bed was very comfortable, the room spacious, and…did I mention clean? ||If you’re looking for something no frills but sanitary and quite comfortable, this place fits the bill.

I stopped here last year (sorry it took so long to write the review). I got a room at 2 AM via an outside app and the staff was there waiting for me. Very friendly. Rooms were good for the price. I definitely recommend this place. People who take care of the hotel were very hard working and friendly. Please visit.

Just tried to climb into bed. Not only is the pee in the bed still wet, but when I went to the office, I was told I can not have an9ther roo. Due to booking, but the kicker, I can't have clean linens, ev3n though I offered to change them. Cause they don't know where they are.. 0 out of 100..

The rooms were quiet and clean. The bed was too soft. The water pressure was awful and it didn't stay hot for long. I had a pizza delivered and the woman at the front desk said "hey hey, don't eat that in the bed. You be careful, don't make a mess." There was a blood stain on my comforter when I arrived, they did fix that, but don't worry about my pizza sauce. But for the price, it was what you would expect.
