HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this hotel for hockey families. This was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed at for a hockey tournament in all of the years my kids have played. They were so incredibly accommodated and took the time to cater to the population they were working with. They had plenty of space for the kids to play knee hockey and allowed the kids to be kids and have a good time! At a last minute request, they even set up a side room for us to watch the bills game while the kids played knee hockey in an open wide hall right next to us. So convenient! More hotels need to do this! Any employee we spoke with were incredibly courteous! We were very happy with our stay and how we were treated! Thank you for a great time!

Booked a two-night stay at this hotel for Thanksgiving. My wife and I have made a little tradition of staying at a hotel with our two 7-year-old daughters the day before Thanksgiving. We thought we would give this hotel a try since it's close to our family. This was a bad choice. The hotel just felt dirty, and the staff was generally unfriendly, and not very helpful. They only included the continental breakfast for my wife and I and wanted us to pay for the kids. We're pretty sure we saw a mouse scurrying down the 2nd floor hallway, where the guest laundry room was. The only dryer in the guest laundry; out of service. The TV can't connect to Netflix like they do at other Marriott properties, and didn't have the basic NBC & ABC, channels so we could watch the Thanksgiving parade. O

Positive: Friendly environment, ease of parking, nice gathering area and bar. Good location. Negative: Breakfast not included in fare. headboard reading light inoperable. Shower curtain dirty, room carpet was worn - needed deep cleaning or replacement. Wall paper peeling away from the wall. 4th floor microwave inoperable

I stayed at the Delta in Utica at the end of January 2026. The desk attendant messed up our rooms and lied about not having joining rooms. She also messed up the names on the rooms causing issues when check out. Instead of taking ownership we were blamed saying we must have booked the rooms at the same time. We were in different buildings, on different laptops at different times so their accusation was false. I ended up finding cockroaches in my room and reported it to the desk attendant upon checkinf out who did nothing about it and didnt apologize. I then reported it to the General Manager, Lee Arthur. Extremely Disappointed: Unresolved Maintenance Issue & Inadequate Compensation I recently stayed at the Delta Hotels Utica (200 Genesee St, Utica, NY 13502) in November 2025, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Upon checking into my room, I discovered that the bathtub faucet was leaking nonstop, creating a loud "drip, drip, drip" sound that made it nearly impossible to sleep. I immediately notified the front desk, and a maintenance worker came to the room. He confirmed the leak but explained that he could not fix it and would notify the front desk. While the hotel offered me a room change, I had already unpacked after a long day of travel, so moving would have been more inconvenient than tolerating the noise.
