DoubleTree by Hilton Utica

Hotel is clean and comfortable nothing all that great but was fine. Elevators are tiny and slow. Asked front desk for an ATM and they told me to go down the road to one?? Simple amenities are lacking for the price of the hotel.|Would stay again due to its location to and my son playing hockey at arena next door.

I have stayed at this hotel often and always liked it. The area isn't my favorite, but it is 'ok'. I generally stay in and don't really wander the streets, but it is close to anything you might want. In my last stay they weren't offering breakfast which was a bummer. BUT, the restaurant and bar there are awesome! I had their burger and it was ridiculously great. This place has great history, it is stunningly beautiful in the lobby and had a great gym for a hotel. This is a great place to stay...and they have the Doubltree cookie!

A mostly average place. The room I stayed in was huge it was a corner room that’s a double. Tons of space. Nice big bathroom as well. The bed was comfy. The room was clean. It’s right in the middle of things if you’re going to the auditorium or Nexus center, as it’s like a 2 block walk. However it’s a bit old and banged up. In need of a refresh. Doors don’t close right and in my nephew’s room the door handle broke off. Staff haven’t been good or bad. Decently friendly but just seems like they don’t want to be there. It could be that it’s the middle of a deep freeze during winter.

Positive: I liked everything! And I?m not exaggerating. The room was almost 400 sq. Ft., heat was controlled with a thermostat on the wall not on the unit itself which kept the temperature perfect. The beds and bedding was like a cloud. It had SIX windows. Negative: No

I love staying here!! We are local but we like to stay near the work Christmas Party so we can enjoy the city. This hotel helps us have our Utica night!! We got an upgrade bc our room wouldn’t be ready in time for us to change for the party- but they upgraded us to accommodate our evening!! What a great room we got on the 9th floor!! Love the jacuzzi tub!!
