Red Roof Inn Utica

The room wasn't clean. The rug wasn't vacuumed. There was dirt and hair in the bathtub. We have stayed here a few times and it wasn't ever this dirty. I guess its a crap shoot on getting a clean room.

100% smoke free? Will NEVER stay here again! Room needs fumigation. The smell of stale cigarette smoke was overwhelming. It was so bad, all the clothes in our suitcase, even the clothes we didn't wear, needed to be thrown in the wash. We would have left upon entering, except there wasn't another room available.

Red Roof Inn was a pleasant surprise-comfy beds, quiet rooms despite being near the highway and super clean bathrooms. Staff went out of their way quick check-in and even gave me late breakfast tips. Prices can’t be beat for what you get. Solid five stars.

The hotel smelled - like something that's been washed but with dirty water. There's talk about "the honor system" yet charge a $3 fee for a room safe in case you use it but don't tell them? Sounds more like a side hustle for front desk personnel.||In the long run, it's not good business to nickle and dime people.||The good? The location was near the major highway and where I needed to be.

The room was filthy. There was a pillow on the floor when I got there. Long hair all over the inaide of the towel I went to use and under the bed was disgusting. Trash, pieces of food, looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in months. Just needed a place to stay because of weather conditions. Both ladies at the lobby desk were nice, recepectful and welcoming. The rooms were nothing to want to come back to.
