Customer Reviews
We showed up a little early and were let in the the owner. After realizing they had rooms on the river we asked to switch spots. He declined over "covid" because we had brought our bags in. THEN even after telling him it was our anniversary he piled every customer in rooms side by side to make cleaning the rooms easier. The INTERNET WAS ABSOLUTELY TRASH!!! The phone service was the same!Hearing German shepherds raise hell and bark as we came to the office was also not very polite. They had 1 drink machine on site that was "sold out" amongst many other things like the dirty rag under the rusted chairs beside our room. Def. Didn't feel like they were hospitable.
We visited Two Rivers in July on a hot, muggy weekend with our granddaughters. We were given adjoining rooms which was a very pleasant surprise. On the plus side and there are many, the proprietors were very nice, check in and out was smooth, the pool was clean, as was the bathroom and the beds were unusually comfortable for a $$ motel. Also, the river behind the adjacent strip of rooms on the property, (ours were close to the pool,) was wonderful as a place to take a short walk after dinner. The only downsides in my opinion to this motel is that it's a bit too "rustic" for me. The small couch, draperies and carpets are in need of replacement for sure. Price was reasonable for the accommodations we had.
Positive: Friendly owners and the location on the river. Easy drive to Hwy 74 and to Cherokee Negative: ""
We stayed Nov 10 &11 came up from Jax, Fl , FT Laud, Fl. Had 2 rooms. Arrived late at night due to snow on the roads. The Inn Keeper/owner waited for us to arrive to check us in. Super polite Gentleman. The rooms are exceptionally clean as well the bedding and towels. Beds are very comfortable. I wish I had asked the brand of mattress's, as they are more comfortable than my own at home. I would and will definitely book again in the spring as I plan to return for some river rafting. I also would like to add, that after we checked out and made our way to sightsee around the surrounding areas we made a last minute decision to stay another night in another town at a “Resort” which charged $50.00 more a night with a significant discount through an online booking website. The level of clea
Great little spot. Owner was friendly and informative on the area, gave us good recommendations for stuff to do. The rooms were spacious and I loved the front porch set up. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, we made many porch friends. The gazebo area was great as well.. lots of firewood for a community fire and the grassy area by the river was a perfect spot to wind down after a day of hiking and rafting. Can't wait to come back.
