Tru by Hilton Winchester

Start with some very confusing Google Maps directions taking me through parking lots... (But easy on and off 81!) Thanks to digital keys, I was able to access the hotel from the back where the only spaces existed to park. (Snow/ice removal was lacking also). The lobby was as inviting as I have come to appreciate at the Tru brand... Staff was great! That includes the night host, the morning host, and the breakfast attendant... Great job all! The room is simple like one expects from Tru. All the utilities worked, and blackout shade was functional (if you know, you know). My neighbor snoring was clear through the walls - I'm sure gave it as good as I got it 😀 Bathroom/shower were clean. My only complaint was the shower gel was empty - like nothing but a bubble came from that pump! Shampo

First time ever staying at a Tru by Hilton. Room was a double queen on the second floor. The hotel was clean, up to date, and staff was friendly. The best part of this hotel was it was simple but thoughtful. Bright themes and little extras make it just right. The shower was a large walk in shower. All the shampoo and body wash that you need and they put a small foot bar to help wash with. I will definitely give Tru by Hilton another go in the future.

Very good. Hotel looks fresh and cozy. Guest laundry, pool, gym, 24/7 coffee and hot water - everything is available. However, I catched 2 small insects (I have no idea how they come from outside, but most likely they were from outside). There are also some black spots on walls.Breakfast is good - eggs (boiled and scrambled) and sausages, you can also make pancakes. Staff is friendly and helpful. Totally, it is a good place to stay.

We stayed on a Friday night in June on our way down to Lynchburg, VA. We booked 2 beds quite simply because it was cheaper than a King bed. Upon arrival, the front desk person easily upgraded us to the King bed. We appreciated that.|We were in 401-the odd side is next to the highway-so we did have that noise. The even side of the hotel is quieter. Although we did not use them, the hotel included noise canceling earplugs on the nightstand.|We appreciated the nightlight in the bathroom. The shower was strong, with hot water. There is no coffee maker in the room-but coffee is available 24 hours a day in the lobby. There was a clock in the room...so many hotels have eliminated clocks due to use of cell phones. The right side of the bed had low lighting. The rest of the room had lots o

Stopped here late at night looking for a room and was very pleased. Staff was great, rooms were super clean (we're picky) which was a pleasant surprise! Would definitely come back!
