Holiday Inn Express & Suites Winchester

We stayed at this location for a quick family night. The rooms were updated, clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful especially Sheryl working in the dining area. She was welcoming and kind, especially to my husband whom was incredibly entertained by the pancake machine. Her giggle was just the thing you need first thing in the morning for a great day.

Our hotel room was clean, comfortable and we got a restful night of sleep. Assistant Manager Tamra recognized us as Platinum Elite members, while being very friendly and helpful, as she checked us in. Jackie in the breakfast area was also very helpful and had a smile on her face. The scrambled eggs she had prepared were very fluffy and delicious (way better than most we have encountered over the years)! Looking forward to our next stay.

After driving for 8 hours we were ready for a good rest. We fired up Google maps and searched for Holiday Inn along I-81. Several appeared, but it seemed that Winchester would be a good place to stop, so we did. We have never stayed here before, but have stayed in many HI across the US. Made a reservation over the interweb and was greeted upon arrival. Parking was plentiful, the lobby was clean, there were plenty of luggage carts. We unloaded, parked the car and went up to our room. Although we were close to the elevator, we were never bothered by the noise. Everything worked fine, except the TV. We got three channels; I expect this has something to do with the hotel renovation. This is the second time we've stayed here while visiting family in the area. The hotel has been renovated and the rooms are clean and modern, and the bed and sheets are comfortable. Susan at the front desk was amazing when we had a reservation issue (our fault) she worked them out quickly and got us the room. She was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good, and Jackie does a wonderful job making sure everything is filled and everyone has what they need. We will stay here again when we return!

We left our stay at this Holiday Inn Express very impressed, resuscitation by the friendliness of the staff and the service they provided. We were especially delighted by Karen who prepared and served our breakfast. The serving area was very clean, well organized, and stocked with all the right condiments. When the eggs ran out after a bit of a rush, Karen was just 90 seconds away from having more ready. Once they were ready she walked through the dining area to offer some to each guest. This is what hospitality is about! Thank you for such a great experience!
