Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Winchester

This was the first Microtel my partner and I had ever stayed at, and it was super nice! The folks working the front desk were all warm and welcoming, which was great. The hotel appeared freshly built, the interior design of the common spaces and the room itself was very modern and chic, and the exterior also looked like some effort was put into the design. We did not make use of the pool or gym since we were just stopping in on a road trip, but they looked super nice and were definitely well taken care of. The breakfast provided was a nice touch, as well. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Winchester or while passing through.

We very much enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. It was great to get off the road and be greeted by a friendly face. I was offered a preference in room choice, much appreciated. We were driving a moving truck, had called ahead to make sure there was adequate parking, and it was perfect. Our room was comfy and the bed was great. We left early in the morning before breakfast but there was fruit and yogurt with fresh coffee even super early. I definitely suggest staying here!

The Microtel Inn & Suites here in Winchester, VA HAS BEEN GREAT!!! The staff is amazing!!! It is clean and well maintained. The bed in my room is very comfortable and the shower is great. The vent/light is a little loud, but I was able to get past it. lol The young man (wish I could remember his name) has been so welcoming and always helpful. Darci, the night shift front desk rep has been such a light and breath of fresh air!!! Every night that I’ve seen her she offers me fresh coffee and hot chocolate to warm up from the cold nights when I walk in. I would recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to Winchester!!! OAN the gym and pool are both awesome ❣️❣️

Positive: Everything was absolutely wonderful. The staff was fantastic and the check in progress was nice and easy. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Negative: The only problem I had was the showers water pressure. There was only about 20% of water pressure coming out of the shower head. I was difficult to get the shampoo out of my thick hair.

Decent location, staff was friendly but we were woken up by many loud neighbors. They have a no smoking policy but constantly could smell smoke, or weed through out the day. Not sure if it was the sheets but we left very itchy, I think beds may have fleas, or previous people did, because they allow pets often. I would recommend steering clear unless you want to infest your family.
