Spark by Hilton Winchester

I stayed at Spark by Hilton in Winchester, VA for one night while traveling for work, and wow… what a treat. The room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and every staff member I met was kind and genuinely helpful. But the best part? Walking into the lobby and feeling like I’d stepped straight into a Hallmark movie. The entire place was beautifully decorated for Christmas — twinkling lights, cozy touches everywhere, and even that fresh Christmas tree scent. It hit me right in the feels after a long day on the road. I was told the housekeeping manager is the mastermind behind the décor, and let me just say: kudos to him! Bed was comfortable, staff was nice. Only complaint the walls are paper thin...I can hear someone flush the toilet next door...being a light sleeper this is less than ideal. Also the air/heat doest stay on to make background noise. Positives...staff was nice, bed was very comfortable and it has a smart TV. Also sits closely to a waffle house if you don't want the basic breakfast.

Friendly staff and clean bright room|Let down by housekeeping supposed to be every other day, but just did not happen. Very noisy aircon which would not switch off, limited breakfast only hot item oatmeal, limited cereals, and only bagels or small cornbread. Some bright spark thought it a good idea to floodlight the building with bulbs that make the sun look dim, so lots of light leaks into the room through the window all night, don’t stay here if you like a dark / quiet room to sleep in.

Positive: I liked its close proximity to I-95. The hotel, in general, was tastefully appointed, conveniently located across from a Chil?s restaurant, and the staff was pleasant. Negative: Unfortunately, the hotel was also located aside a shabby looking Baymont Inn (also directly outside our room?s window).

We came to town for a wedding and stayed at this location. I called the hotel and asked for an early check in, Sharee was so helpful and accommodating! Upon arrival she was very pleasant and gave us waters and a cute thank you card for choosing Hilton.The hotel was decorated for the fall holiday and was very cute warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and easily accessible. The shower was a bit tight for the size of the bathroom but overall we had a great stay.
