Travelodge by Wyndham Watertown

Positive: It was cheap and unfortunately the service equaled that. Negative: 1. No breakfast; the room smelled (left us a can of Fabreeze to spray in the room); had to ask for everything; the hallways and front entrance not vacuumed and dirty; trash not emptied for 3 days; elevator not working; only saw one person (staff)

Needs some major clean up. Terrible smell when you walk in and down hallways. Felt like I was in a cellar. No one at the desk ever and takes 10 minutes when you ring bell for someone to come. Person wasn’t very personable. TV didn’t work , elevator didn’t work , pool was discusting even though it wasn’t open. Room was clean but very dark and dingy. With a bit of cleaning , making sure things work (TV, elevator) and a friendly welcoming person at the desk it could be very nice

STAY ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!! Sleep in your car before staying in this fleabag inn. I stopped in their parking lot to book, and kept on driving. This place looks like it was condemned and somehow it’s still open for business. Was here on a Friday night and there was only one other car in the lot. There was a family staying in the far end of the building with marijuana smoke pouring out their window. The board of health needs to close this place down. Don’t be fooled by the Wyndham name. The place is absolutely disgusting. I have been in truck stop bathrooms that are cleaner than this trash heap. They should be paying you to stay here.

This is an older facility. Everything looks dated and worn. The entire place had a musty smell. The smell was worse inside the rooms. The rooms were small and cramped. There were not a lot of outlets in the rooms. The accessible room had an ill-placed grab bar near the toilet and in the shower. The breakfast was scant. Not much variety, and no hot food. Even though the room slept four people (two double beds), the facility charged $15 + tax, for any 'extra' people (beyond two), per night.

We’ve stayed there for years and were pleased in the past. But this time Elevator out of order, no breakfast altho advertised. We had no cold water in the tub- just boiling hot which made bath and shower impossible. This was confirmed by employee. Girl at the desk had no interest in doing anything about it- or reducing cost of our stay. Management never contacted us.
