Allen's Budget Motel - Apts

Customer service is extremely subpar. The front desk worker gave an attitude when I asked for the wifi password. The owner gave permission to us to bring our dog and acted irritated the whole time we were there with our dog. We stayed a week and no one came to check on us to see if we needed any towels or anything. Carpets turned our feet black. We didn't even use their lines so we wouldn't get our dogs hair on the sheets. Left medication in the fridge and within 30 minutes of leaving and returning back, they said that they already threw it in the dumpster and we had to dig it out ourselves. Highly recommend staying at the Royal Inn down the street. Leaving two stars because at least we had a roof over our heads

Only a few miles from town but a far better choice for a reasonably priced motel in Watertown. |Ultra clean spacious room with microwave and refrigerator. No coffee machine in the room but always a fresh pot in the office. |Nice quality sheets. We did find the bed a little uncomfortable for two, but there were two beds so that worked out OK. |Bathroom was very nice with huge shower but we found the towels a little thin and too few.|Clean grounds and parking lot shows attention to detail. |Nice diner just up the street for breakfast.|We will come again.

This motel is EXTREMELY noisy. The traffic in front of it NEVER slows down. Loud construction trucks, motorcycles, cars, you name it. It's insanity to not be able to sleep. You will have to keep the air conditioner or fan on, or TV so it will serve as a buffer. The bed and pillows aren't comfortable at all. The rooms have a bad smell.

In reality a decent room, bigger than anything I might have had in a chain hotel, and for much less price. The location is decent for access to Watertown and it is close to the interstate. Reception said that the Internet reception might be spotty at the farthest rooms but I didnt have any problems.

I'm going to start with the good. The price is ridiculously low. It is actually a bad thing, but it's a good thing if you're broke. Be aware that because the price is so low you're going to attract the kind of clientele that steals coffee makers evidently. The location is very convenient for access to both Fort Drum and Watertown as well as Evan Mills and Leray. I'm not giving the low score lightly. There's one simple reason and many complex reasons for the one star review. The simple reason is, the number one thing you get a motel room for is to rest. There's no rest. The bed is awful, the pillows are somehow more awful, the furniture is disgusting and broken.
