Travelodge by Wyndham Laurel/Ft. Meade/Near NSA

This is the most basic motel I've stayed at throughout the country, and it was a great experience for work and simplicity, Great staff with great attitude. Recommend to anyone who's traveling and just need a good night sleep and not looking for anything else. Older but remodeled and clean rooms.

Everything was clean and quiet, no problems at all!! Check in and check out went well! I would def stay here again or recommend staying here!

Positive: Hot shower. Negative: Constant loud noise. Kids Running around the day of arrival and the day of departure. Used toiled roll in the room. Broken hangers. Dirty pull out sofa bed with cigarette box and other trash items inside couch. Used wash cloth, clogged sink.

Room 404: I didn't see roaches like everyone is saying. However there were ants here and there. Snow just thawed and it's a little chilly out so, maybe that's why there aren't hella bugs...it just ain't their season. Anyway, the tiles in the shower were falling off. Major cracks without grout allowing for major water damage down the line. Easy fix that is gonna cost em a lot more in the future. The headboard was falling apart and they used screws in random places to hold it together 🤣. Never mind the fact that the screws do nothing because of their placement. 🤣😂 double LOL! Floors weren't clean and the lounge chair they had was an old tattered booth seat from a retired restaurant. The fabric was almost all gone. My dog didn't mind...but my eyes did. I had been a guest here since April of this year because I was homeless. The price was ok, but some of the staff have no customer service skills whatsoever, especially the maintenance man. My bad experience was compounded by the fact that my son was stabbed by another guest with no provocation. I had seen a few roaches in my room over the first few months, which were dealt with with some raid and Combat gel, but over the summer someone else moved into the room next to me and the roach population exploded. When we complained about it, management essentially said it was because of the amount of belongings that were in my room, but there was no more than was there when I first occupied the room. I cleaned my own room to make sure it was done properly. I would not recommend this place for a 2
