Unprofessional Staff and Unsanitary Conditions – Pay the Extra $20 Elsewhere ​ ​The Reality of Budget Lodging If you are strictly counting coins, Motel 6 is a functional backup, but "budget" should not mean a lack of basic dignity or sanitation. While life happens and we all have to do what we have to do, if you can pull an extra $10 or $20 out of thin air, make the sacrifice for your own comfort and safety. You truly get what you pay for here. ​Negligent Service The front desk staff is hit-or-miss, and when it’s a "miss," it is incredibly frustrating. Upon check-in, I was told there was no reservation for me, despite having stayed there the previous night. Rather than helping, the clerk dismissed me and told me to take it up with the booking website. It was only after I remained persisten

Positive: Location Negative: I went to get a card key I got locked out came back to eat my Panda Express and a big axx roach was in my food . And the white lady at the desk showed zero sympathy

OK. I was skeptical about staying here based on other reviews. Glad I decided to give it a try. Glad I did. Staff was very pleasant and seemed glad I way staying. I saw no drug dealers, prositutes or undesireables. That could be because they recently closed the liquor store acroos the street. The area was quiet and well maintained. This was probably the best Motel 6 I have stayed in. No, there were no frills. Not supposed to be. Everything worked as supposed to .||||If you want all the bells & whistles, downtown Laurel has upscale hotels. Not what I was looking for. I wanted cheap & safe & clean, and that is what I got.

Don’t bother coming to this location unless u wanna be bothered by junkies. The room we got wasn’t the worse but the sheets and the towels had hair and stains on them. We come back another day to get a room they say we’re banned and not allowed on property because of a “blanket” missing. Absolutely horrible experience not to mention the roachs and bugs

Ms.Beth was amazing! She was so kind and offered great hospitality above and beyond. She allowed my husband to check in before I did even though I booked the room. It’s quiet, nice very clean. I would definitely recommend.
