Holiday Inn Express & Suites Laurel by IHG

This hotel is by far one of my favorites. It has great breakfast, a nice pool (albeit a bit small), and a very clean room. I would only recommend investing in better pool towels. We also experienced a floor maintenance on our second day which made accessing our room a little difficult. Though I understand the need for this maintenance, I’d highly recommend telling visitors upon check in to prevent surprises.

I had a situation this morning that could have easily turned into a stressful start to the day, but Christmas, the manager here, completely changed that. I’m in town from New Hampshire for business and don’t know the area at all, so when my dealership truck wouldn’t start this morning it was a little nerve-racking. I went back into the lobby to ask if the hotel might have a portable jump pack, thinking it was probably a long shot. Instead, Christmas immediately offered to help and came right outside with me. I popped the hood and she jumped right in, trying the jump pack without hesitation or complaint. When that didn’t work, she even went to check her own personal car to see if she had jumper cables. She stayed outside with me in the cold and rain for quite a while while we kept trying

THIS THE MOST PERFECT HOTEL FOR COUPLES OR FAMILY!!!. My husband and I stayed for the weekend and we enjoyed it so much we brought the kids the following weekend. The staff, the pool and hot tub food options, the STAFF WAS JUST AMAZING. We be visiting again in about a month. Nice little get away from the world. Great place for couples. So much to do and see. plenty of shopping areas too. lol lol

The good, the bad, and the ugly….let me preface this by saying I really do not want to write this review…but I review everywhere we stay and eat (hundreds of Trip Advisor contributions, more recently using Google). ||The good….the hotel has made some nice upgrades. Many aspects feel refreshed and updated. These include the bathrooms, flooring, paint, and common areas. It is very, very clean which is the most important thing. We stayed in Dec and again in Jan. Most platforms only allow a review once in a 30 day period so I wanted to complete both stays before providing feedback. The sales manager, Lance, was a joy to work with. I needed room blocks for our hockey team. He was very responsive, professional, and accommodating. 5 out of 5 stars for him. The front desk girls were very friendly.

Needed a safe place to stay for a night. They allowed me to check in early which I appreciated. My original room was cold so they moved me without any questions. The lady at the front desk and housekeeping were very kind. Hotel is close to many food options.
