Travelers Inn

This was a decent place to stay. There are some good, inexpensive restaurants within a block or 2. Great Mexican place right in back. Kind of sketchy neighborhood tho. Homeless right next door, but I could not see where they bothered anyone. The reason for this review, is this is the last place I used my credit card and today I got a notice of $903.00 in charges I didn’t make. Maybe it’s a coincidence? I do not want to falsely accuse anyone, but maybe pay in cash.

My daughter and I stayed here for the first time a few weeks back and loved it. The owners are very good people who at times are willing to work with you if you can't cover the deposit, or are just short a few bucks. The rooms are huge and very clean. All rooms have a mini fridge and microwave. I would say, they are very stingy with the towels...

We have been going here for years with our family. Always get the steak dinner for two. Never disappoints. The waitress did forget our soup but still a ton of food. The decore could use some updating but for old timers like us we dont mind it.

We went here for dinner while staying in Sacramento. At first we questioned if we were in the right place, it is attached to the motel. When you walk in, your entering through the bar, but there is s dining room! This is an “Old Fashion Italian Restaurant “, I had visions from my childhood. It has been open over four decades. The waitress was wonderful and the food was great! Portions are large, so if you are older, you might want to share a dish. It is worth a visit!

While I did not stay in the Motel, the adjacent restaurant gets the Kudos. ||||My wife and I had the steak dinner for two. ||||All dinners come with bread, soup and salad and a small bowl of pasta! ||The steaks were grilled perfectly! ||||Two glasses of wine with dinner ( comes with the steak for 2 ) and the total bill was about $ 45.00 including tip. ||||More than enough food. Excellent fast, frioendly service. ||||Must come here more often.
