Sherwood Harbor Marina & RV Park

Lovely stay! Bathrooms with showers and laundry are newly remodeled and well maintained. They always felt fresh and clean. Quiet sites right on the river with power and water. Restful and relaxing- staff was lovely and kind and responsive. We are planning to come back. We have a 28’ airstream and it was east to maneuver- the entrance is really steep, but we were fine. Pump out worked fine. Cute shop.

We were looking for a place to stay overnight on our way down to Southern California and Sacramento was about the right distance for our stop. My wife found this place so we decided to give it a try. First off, the positives. The location is neat sitting right on the Sacramento river. The staff was nice and even called to see if we were still on track as we were running a little late. There is a decent sized convience store in the office that was well stocked. The bathrooms were also very clean as was the property. Unfortunately the negatives outweighed the positives for us. First off, the road in and out are definitely not designed for RV's. They are steep, in bad condition, and have impossibly sharp corners. We stayed in the lower section and the road is literally crumbling away. Also,

Last time I was at this park I paid a straight $60 fee. My space was left pristine. Be warned that policy has changed, and you will now be charged in addition a "$60 non refundable deposit good for the next six months." Ib order words, tour night's stay will cost you $120.

My wife and I have stayed at Sherwood Harbor in our 28 ft. travel trailer in both the lower and upper campgrounds. The last time was last winter for 6 months with full hookups. The location, rural, quiet, yet close to everything is its big advantage. The river is right there, so you can paddle or motor. The Levees are great for walking, running, or biking. There is great shopping nearby as well as being close to downtown that you can hike and bike to on the trails. The campground itself is all natural and park like with beautiful trees and wildlife. The laundry and shower facilities are clean and modern. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and take great care of the facilities and grounds. All in all it’s Sacramento’s best RV campground by far.

Complete dump grass parking spots with tree stumps that your engine oil panel will get smashed off on horrible road with drug use all up and down the road The girls at work they were super nice, but you could tell the manager your owner whoever isn’t very good at it
