Sahara Motel

This is my favorite place to stay in all of Sacramento. The managers are so friendly and accommodating. The hotel it's self is in a shady part of town and overall could use a few upgrades however it's very clean and the family that manages it are truly amazing people and will always have my business when I'm in town.

Have been staying here for a few years as I criss-cross CA. Service is good, but they know me now, so a first-timer may encounter a bit if curt-ness. Still, they are respectful, the married couple who own the place. Rooms have always been clean, with big, comfy beds, good, solid WiFi and a Microwave and Refrigerator in the rooms. McDonald's is right next door, and a Safeway is less than 2 block away, next to a laundromat and a Big Lots! State capitol is not far, and a bus stop is right in front.||||Considering this is Sacramento, the $55/nightly weekday cost was very affordable.

The staff was very nice. Also the other tenats were very cool. I thought it was really cool how the staff interacted with the tenants it really gave the place a welcoming feeling. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Old and tired. Room cleanliness was suspect. Air conditioner like a 747 in you room. Move on 😔

Amazingly nice people, at the time I was a homeless traveler going through Sacramento. I had stayed at the Bel air a few nights before. The Sahara was way cleaner, they are nice, cheaper and they gave me room number 2. The nicest room. (: 5 stars from me I will for sure go back whenever I'm in Sac town. Good times.
